You can now upload your own profile picture

We've decided that while maintaining consistent identities across networks is a good thing, it can also be nice to upload a specific picture to identify you on Whimventory without having to change your Gravatar / Wordpress / Facebook picture. Now, you can do precisely that.

Head over to Account → Change your picture, and you'll see a new field over to the right:

There is a maximum upload filesize of 1MB, so please crop and scale your image on your computer before uploading. Your image will then be scaled down to a width of 130px, so you might as well scale them to that width before uploading them. This'll make your files upload faster, too, so everybody wins :)

Let us know what you think!

Profile picture uploads are currently limited to the jpg image format, although we plan on allowing gif/png in the near future. For now, please ensure that the file you are trying to upload ends in ".jpg" (eg. picofme.jpg)
